कोरबा(दि.15जानेवारी):-लंबित रोजगार प्रकरणों को निराकृत करने की मांग को लेकर छत्तीसगढ किसान सभा और भूविस्थापित रोजगार एकता संघ के नेतृत्व में खनन प्रभावित ग्रामीणों ने आज कुसमुंडा जीएम कार्यालय के अंदर कब्जा कर लिया तथा धरना में बैठ गए। इस आंदोलन में महिलाएं भारी संख्या में शामिल हैं। आंदोलनकारी ग्रामीणों ने दोपहर का भोजन भी पंगत में बैठकर कार्यालय के अंदर ही किया। भू-विस्थापितों का कब्जा आंदोलन शुरू हो गया है।
जीएम कार्यालय के अंदर गलियारे में ही भू-विस्थापितों ने पंगत में बैठकर भोजन किया। ग्रामीणों और भूविस्थापितों के इस तरह प्रदर्शन से कोयला प्रबंधन और जिला प्रशासन में हड़कंप मच गया है। आंदोलनकारियों को समझाने का काम चल रहा है, लेकिन वे कार्यालय छोड़ने के लिए तैयार नहीं है। छत्तीसगढ़ किसान सभा के जिला सचिव प्रशांत झा ने कहा है कि अब उन्हें आश्वासन नहीं, कार्यवाही चाहिए और प्रत्येक खातेदार को रोजगार मिलने तक ग्रामीण और भूविस्थापित कार्यालय के अंदर ही बैठे रहेंगे।
उल्लेखनीय है कि कोयला उत्खनन के लिए इस क्षेत्र में स्थाई नौकरी देने और बुनियादी मानवीय सुविधाओं के साथ पुनर्वास देने के वादे के साथ 40-50 वर्ष पहले हजारों एकड़ भूमि का अधिग्रहण किया था, लेकिन एसईसीएल ने यह वादा पूरा नहीं किया। तब से लेकर आज तक ग्रामीण रोजगार और पुनर्वास के लिए भटक रहे हैं। कुसमुंडा कार्यालय के सामने 800 दिनों से उनका अनिश्चितकालीन धरना चल रहा है, खदान बंदी से लेकर चक्का जाम और कार्यालय बंदी तक कई जुझारू आंदोलन हुए हैं, लेकिन हर बार प्रबंधन द्वारा उन्हें आज या कल तक कार्यवाही का आश्वासन ही मिला है।
किसान सभा नेता का कहना है कि जमीन किसानों का स्थाई रोजगार का जरिया होता है। सरकार ने जमीन लेकर किसानों की जिंदगी के एक हिस्से को छीन लिया है। इसलिए जमीन के बदले पैसा और ठेका नहीं, छोटे-बड़े सभी खातेदार को स्थाई नौकरी देना होगा। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि पुराने लंबित रोजगार प्रकरणों को लेकर एसईसीएल गंभीर नहीं है और इसके खिलाफ आंदोलन और तेज किया जाएगा।
भू-विस्थापित रोजगार एकता संघ के नेता दामोदर श्याम, रेशम यादव, रघु यादव, सुमेन्द्र सिंह कंवर ठकराल आदि ने कहा कि भू विस्थापितों को जमीन के बदले बिना किसी शर्त के रोजगार देना होगा और वे अपने इस अधिकार के लिए अंतिम सांस तक लड़ेंगे।
जीएम कार्यालय में घुसने से पहले आंदोलनकारियों ने दो घंटे तक खदान बंद रखा। मोहन यादव, बृजमोहन, जय कौशिक, दीननाथ, फिरत लाल, उत्तम दास, जितेंद्र, होरीलाल, अनिल बिंझवार, हेमलाल, हरिहर पटेल, कृष्णा, फणींद्र, अनिरुद्ध, चंद्रशेखर, गणेश, सनत आदि इसका नेतृृत्व कर रहे थे।
देर शाम को इन पंक्तियों के लिखे जाने तक कोयला प्रबंधन के साथ दो दौर की वार्ता विफल हो चुकी है और आंदोलनकारी बिलासपुर से उच्चाधिकारियों को बुलाने और लिखित में समझौता करने की मांग पर अड़े हुए हैं। किसान सभा की अगुआई में जीएम कार्यालय पर ग्रामीणों का कब्जा बना हुआ है और रात के खाने की तैयारी चल रही है।
*Villagers captured Kusmunda GM office for employment, Kisan Sabha said: agitation will continue*
Korba. Mining affected villagers today occupied the Kusmunda GM office and sat in a dharna under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Kisan Sabha and Bhoo-visthapit Rojgar Ekta Sangh, demanding resolution of pending employment cases. Women are involved in large numbers in this movement. The displaced people sat in a queue and had their meal in the corridor inside the GM office. This kind of demonstration by villagers and land displaced people has created a stir in the coal management and district administration. The work of convincing the agitators is going on, but they are not ready to leave the office. District Secretary of Chhattisgarh Kisan Sabha Prashant Jha has said that now they do not want assurance but action and the rural and land displaced people will remain sitting inside the office till every account holder gets employment.
It is noteworthy that thousands of acres of land was acquired 40-50 years ago with the promise of providing permanent jobs in this area for coal excavation and rehabilitation with basic human facilities, but SECL did not fulfill this promise. From then till today the villagers are wandering for employment and rehabilitation. Their indefinite strike has been going on in front of the Kusmunda office for 800 days, many militant movements have taken place from mine closure to chakka jam and office closure, but every time they have been assured by the management of action by today or tomorrow.
Kisan Sabha leader says that land is a source of permanent employment for farmers. The government has taken away a part of the farmers’ lives by taking the land. Therefore, instead of land, money and contract, all small and big account holders will have to be given permanent jobs. He alleged that SECL is not serious about the old pending employment cases and the agitation against it will be further intensified.
Leaders of Rojgar Ekta Sangh Damodar Shyam, Resham Yadav, Raghu Yadav, Sumendra Singh Kanwar Thakral etc. said that land displaced people will have to be given employment without any conditions in exchange of land and they will fight till their last breath for this right.
The agitators kept the mine closed for two hours before entering the GM office. Mohan Yadav, Brijmohan, Jai Kaushik, Dinnath, Firat Lal, Uttam Das, Jitendra, Horilal, Anil Binjhwar, Hemlal, Harihar Patel, Krishna, Phanindra, Anirudh, Ganesh, Sanat, Chandrashekhar etc. were leading it.
Till the time of writing these lines late in the evening, two rounds of talks with the coal management have failed and the agitators are adamant on calling high officials from Bilaspur and demanding a written agreement. Under the leadership of Kisan Sabha, the GM office is occupied by the villagers and preparations for dinner are going on.
