चीनचे परराष्ट्र मंत्री किन कॅग गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून बेपत्ता असल्याची बातमी आली संपूर्ण जगात एकच खळबळ माजली. वास्तविक अशाप्रकारच्या बातम्या चीनमधून येणे ही काही नवी गोष्ट नाही. चीनमधून अचानक बेपत्ता झालेले किन कॅग ही काही पहिली व्यक्ती नाही या अगोदरही चीनमधून अनेक व्यक्ती अशा अचानक बेपत्ता झाल्या आहेत पुढे त्यांचे काय झाले याचा तपास मात्र जगाला लागत नाही कारण चीन ती बातमी कधी जगासमोर येऊ देत नाही अर्थात ही बातमी पण जगासमोर आली नसती पण किन कॅग हे चीनचे मागील दहा वर्षांपासून परराष्ट्रमंत्री आहेत. अनेक देशांच्या प्रमुखांशी त्यांचे सलोख्याचे संबंध होते आणि सर्वात महत्वाचे म्हणजे किन कॅग हे चीनचे राष्ट्राध्यक्ष शी जिनपिंग यांचे निकटवर्तीय मानले जात होते म्हणूनच त्यांच्या बेपत्ता होण्याने जगभर खळबळ माजली आहे.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय विषयाचे जाणकार मात्र या बेपत्ता होण्यामागे राष्ट्राध्यक्ष शी जिनपिंग यांनाच जबाबदार धरत आहे आणि त्यात तथ्यही असू शकते कारण शी जिनपिंग राष्ट्राध्यक्ष झाल्यापासून चीनमधून हजारो नागरिक असे अचानक गायब झाले आहेत. जे नागरिक शी जिनपिंग यांच्या धोरणाला विरोध करतात, त्यांचा मताशी असहमती दर्शवतात त्यांना जिनपिंग हे अशाप्रकारे दूर करतात. किन कॅग हे जरी जिनपिंग यांचे निकटवर्तीय होते तरी गेल्या काही दिवसात या दोन्ही नेत्यांत अनेक विषयांवर मतभेद होते. कॅग यांच्या बेपत्ता होण्यामागे हेच मतभेद कारणीभूत असल्याचे मानले जाते. जर चीनच्या सत्ताधाऱ्यांना त्यांच्या एखाद्या सहकाऱ्याच्या कार्यपद्धतीत काही बदल दिसून आला किंवा ते बंड करण्याच्या तयारीत असल्याची शंका आली तर त्यांना त्वरित हटवण्यात येते किंवा गायब करण्यात येते. गायब झालेल्या व्यक्तीचा पुढे काहीही ठावठिकाणा लागत नाही.
कॅग यांच्याबाबतीतही असेच काही तरी होईल अशी भीती जगाला वाटत आहे. किन कॅग यांच्या बेपत्ता होण्याच्या बातमीने खळबळ माजली असतानाच चीनचे संरक्षण मंत्री ली शांग फु हे देखील बेपत्ता झाल्याची बातमी आल्याने गूढ आणखी वाढली आहे. बीजिंगमध्ये झालेल्या चीन – आफ्रिका पीस अँड सिक्युरिटी फोरमच्या बैठकीत ते उपस्थित होते त्यानंतर मात्र ते आता कोठे आहेत याबाबत कोणतीही माहिती चीन सरकारने दिली नाही त्यामुळे परराष्ट्र मंत्री किन कॅग प्रमाणे संरक्षण मंत्री ली शांग फु हे देखील बेपत्ता असल्याची चर्चा सुरू झाली. विरोधी विचारांच्या व्यक्तींना गायब करणे ही चीनमध्ये नित्याची बाब आहे कारण तिथे हुकूमशाही आहे. जिथे हुकूमशाही आहे तिथे हेच चित्र पाहायला मिळते. केवळ चिनमध्येच नाही तर रशिया आणि उत्तर कोरियामध्येही हेच चित्र पाहायला मिळते कारण तिथेही हुकूमशाहीच आहे.
रशियात पुतीन यांचे प्रतिस्पर्धी म्हणून उदयास आलेले प्रोगोझीम यांचे विमान अपघातात निधन झाले होते मात्र हा अपघात नसून पुतीन यांनी केलेली ती हत्या होती अशी चर्चा जगभर रंगली होती. उत्तर कोरियाचा हुकूमशहा किम जोंग ऊन हा तर विक्षिप्तच आहे त्याला जो विरोध करेल त्यांना तो सरळ तोफेच्या तोंडी देतो. गेल्या वर्षी त्याने त्याच्या चुलत्यालाच तोफेच्या तोंडी दिले होते. एकूणच चीन, रशिया, उत्तर कोरिया या देशात मानवाधिकारांचे उघडपणे उल्लंघन होत आहे मात्र तिथे हुकूमशाही असल्याने त्याला कोणी ही विरोध करू शकू नाही. जो विरोध करेल तो एकतर गायब होतो नाहीतर थेट ढगात जातो. आपल्या देशातील जे नागरिक हुकूमशाहीचे समर्थन करतात त्यांनी या हुकूमशाही देशातील नागरिकांची अवस्था पहावी म्हणजे त्यांना लोकशाहीचे महत्व समजेल.
