Mumbai(dt.17oct):-actress Ekta Jain, who has shown the magic of her acting in many Bollywood films like Khali Bali, Zindagi Ek Shatranj and Trahimaam and TV shows like Shagun, Apun To Vaise Hi and Shaka Laka Boom Boom, celebrates every festival with great enthusiasm. Her photoshoots make headlines during Navratri and Diwali. This time Ekta Jain has tried to do something different in Navratri. After doing a lot of research, she realized that till now no one has taken the 9 forms of Maa Durga. Someone has only assumed the form of Mahakali, Mahagauri. This time Ekta Jain has assumed nine forms of Maa Durga, a special photoshoot took place and behind this there is a lot of effort, dedication, passion and research involved.
For these 9 days, devotees worship 9 forms of Goddess Durga. Every form of Mother has its own distinct specialty and unique glory.
On the first day of Navratri, Maa Shailputri is worshipped, who is the first form of Maa Durga. Mother Brahmacharini is the second form. She had performed rigorous penance to get Lord Shiva as her husband, hence she was called Brahmacharini. Mother Chandraghanta is worshiped on the third day of Navratri. These include the powers of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. The crescent moon is adorned on her forehead, that is why she is called Chandraghanta.
On the fourth day of Navratri, Kushmanda Mata, the fourth form of Goddess Durga, is worshipped. When there was darkness everywhere, the universe was created by the energy of the mother. In the fifth form, the mother came in the form of Skandamata. Skanda i.e. Kartikeya is in his lap. In the sixth form, Mother becomes Katyayani, who teaches us that even after becoming a mother, you should follow your duties.
Ekta Jain said that the most frightening form is that of Kaalratri, seeing which even demons get scared. The form after that is that of Mahagauri, the more peaceful she is, the more power she has, because Mahagauri can take the form of Kali at any time. Mahagauri is the mother of the entire world and also the protector of all of us. She also kills demons. Last comes the form of Siddhidatri, she has all the Siddhis present.Ekta Jain says that when I studied and researched about each form of Naudurga, I felt very happy and I tried to adopt each form. I got the photoshoot done with all the important things I could hold in two hands. .
