Chandrapur (Dt.15 Oct.)- The issue of human trafficking is becoming very serious all over the world. Walk for Freedom was organized in association with District Legal Services Authority , Chandrapur and Vision Rescue as per the directives of Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority, Mumbai, with the view that ordinary citizens should pay attention to this issue and they should also be aware.

Chief District and Sessions Judge Samriddhi Bhishma , District Legal Services Authority Secretary Sumit Joshi, Ad Hoc District and Sessions Judge Prashant Kale, In-charge Chief Judicial Magistrate Praveen Kulkarni, Chandrapur District Bar Association President Adv. Abhay Pachpore and Secretary Ashish Dharmapuriwar, Vision Rescue organization representative Bhushan Tondare, Walk for Freedom Chandrapur District Coordinator Sham Hedau etc. were present.

The walk for freedom included students and professors of all colleges of Chandrapur city , employees of District and Sessions Court , employees of District Legal Services Authority office , officials and members of Chandrapur District Bar Association , Bandu Dhotre of Eco-Pro , student organizations etc.

Speaking on this occasion, Chief District and Sessions Judge Samriddhi Bhishma said , Human trafficking is a very serious issue and we all should be aware of this , should be vigilant and should come forward immediately and report to the relevant department where necessary, we are taking this Walk for Freedom . expressed. District Legal Services Authority Secretary Sumit Joshi gave detailed information about human trafficking in the introduction and explained the role behind the organization of the program.

Earlier, Smt. Bhishma started the Walk for Freedom from the local Gandhi Chowk by showing the flag. The rally took a detour to Jatpura Gate and returned to Gandhi Chowk via Kasturba Road to conclude the Walk for Freedom.

The program was moderated by Sham Hedau and vote of thanks was given by Bhushan Tondare of Vision Rescue. Dhananjay Sakharkar, Devanand Sakharkar, Shailesh Dindwar, Chinmoy Bhagwat , Piyush Bankar, Aditya Gachkeshwar, Omkar Sayankar,Tanmoy Bankar, Omkar Bakshi etc worked tirelessly for the success of the program.
