Chandrapur(Dt.17feb):-The birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on 19 February 2024 is being celebrated in the district with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
While celebrating the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the responsible officials should try their best to cover the issues given by the administration. The administration has given instructions regarding the planning and implementation of the activity.
In this, while cleaning , painting and beautifying the area of тАЛтАЛthe statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the responsible officials should pay attention and do the work in a planned manner. Flags of the state anthem should be placed at suitable places near the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. If clean and holy water of the local rivers is available, Jalabhishek should be applied to the statue. There should be electric lighting everywhere in the statue area. If possible, permanent electric lighting should be planned in the area.
A permanent pearl necklace, if available, should be placed on the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj along with the wreath. On the day of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary, tunes of Rajya Geet and Shiva Geet should be played by police band (half an hour) in front of the statue as per availability. An attractive rangoli should be drawn in the statue area, where possible flower rangoli should be drawn. Powada program of local Shahirs should be organized on the day of Jayanti. Also, the district administration has informed that essay competition , heroic song competition should be organized at local places .
